During “Women’s Month” in Namibia, Star for Life’s mobile health clinic has been able to visit 11 schools where Star for Life works. The health campaign, which over 6,000 students took part in, has focused on girls’ health and specifically raised the stigma around menstruation, which is still a major challenge in many societies. The campaign has also focused on unwanted teenage pregnancies and hygiene.

The staff of the mobile health clinic have also visited our Girls Clubs and offered the girls health checks. In addition to a general health examination, the students have also been able to check their eyesight and receive information about nutrition and health.
