Since our start in 2005, Star for Life has grown into an international collaboration of legally independent organisations in South Africa, Sweden, Jerusalem, Namibia, Ukraine and Tanzania that share values and concepts. Together we form SfL International.

The purpose of SfL International is to raise funds for educational and health activities in South Africa, Namibia, Tanzania, Sweden (Motivationslyftet), Ukraine and Jerusalem. In order to succeed, we carry out fundraising and marketing work in Sweden.

SfL International does not run its own schools, but instead we implement our programs within the framework of each country’s existing school system. This makes our work very cost-effective and so far around half a million learners have participated in our programmes in South Africa, Namibia and Tanzania.

This is possible because we respect every penny and keep our finances in order. SfL International has a 90 account, is controlled by the Swedish Fundraising Control and is a member of Giva Sweden, a professional body for the fundraising organisations with a focus on trustful and secure donations.
