Star for Life Ukraine
Star for Life Ukraine
Star for Life Ukraine is an independent foundation within SfL International that works to improve life chances and education – with a special focus on online technical schools, Tech Labs, and Girls in Tech Summer Camps.
In a country deeply affected by war, we also focus on mental health, trauma recovery, and humanitarian aid. The program is managed by Country Director Dennis Wolowyk.
Our projects
At Star for Life, we design and implement projects that create lasting change in the lives of young people and their communities.
Tech Labs
Ukraine
Dedicated spaces in schools, equipped by Star for Life Ukraine, where kids can dive into offline programming classes, explore tech, and collaborate with peers. Each lab is a buzzing hub of innovation, creativity, and community, all under the guidance of a local teacher who helps bring ideas to life. Currently, there are 10 active labs and 1 associated lab – all ready to inspire the next wave of tech talent.

Our work in Ukraine
To ensure that Star for Life’s school programme creates real and lasting impact, we continuously monitor and evaluate our work and share the results with our partners. This work is led by our Research Director, doctor Per Strand, PhD.
