Youth Dialogue “Change starts with me”

South Africa is becoming increasingly unsafe for women to live in according to the South African statistics femicide is times higher than the global average, and experience Xenophobic attacks at the same time where foreign national was attacked.
“Change starts with Me” Youth Dialogue held for Ekurhuleni South schools in Johannesburg, with main topics such as Gender-Based Violence and Xenophobia. this platform was created for leaners to engage on relevant issues and have conversations between them and stakeholders that were present such as SAPS (South African Police Service), POWA, Social Development, and Home affairs to bring change in our schools and community. the purpose is to make learners the inventors of their theories and make their mark on society, seek clarity and solutions on problems at hand. the expectation is that young people have a high impact on their immediate peers and the society.
