The Global Goals are the collective name for 17 sustainable development goals that were adopted on September 25th, 2015, in the UN General Assembly. The 17 goals consist of 169 milestones. 193 countries around the globe have formulated and adopted the Global Goals. The aim is to by 2030 achieve social, environmental and economical sustainable development throughout the world.
Star for Life’s activities aim to promote a number of the Global Goals – most actively for goals 1, 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 16 and 17. In order for us to achieve the ambitious goals together, we need to collaborate – learn from each other and share knowledge and networks. As an individual or company, you can help by supporting organisations that work for the Global Goals, and share knowledge about them. The more people who know and participate in the work towards reaching the Global Goals, the faster we will get there!
