Empowering young people
According to the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child, every child has the right to be cared for, the right to participation and development, education and play. Star for Life schools are situated in both rural and urban parts of South Africa and Namibia where we deal with different living environments and child cases. With the Star for Life method we aim to empower each child and their community to claim and fullfil these rights as well as empower each individual to make positive choices for themselves and for their communities.
The Star for Life-method is taught in 100 schools in Southern Africa. The schools are situated in different parts of South Africa and Namibia. Some of them are presented below – take a look at them to see more about what we do in the different schools!
