Star for Life Ukraina \u00e4r en sj\u00e4lvst\u00e4ndig stiftelse inom SfL International som arbetar f\u00f6r att f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra ungas livschanser och utbildning \u2013 med s\u00e4rskilt fokus p\u00e5 digitala tekniska utbildningar, Tech Labs och Girls in Tech-sommarl\u00e4ger.<\/p>\n

Tech Labs \u00e4r s\u00e4rskilda utrymmen i skolor, utrustade av Star for Life Ukraina, d\u00e4r barn kan f\u00f6rdjupa sig i offlinebaserade programmeringslektioner, utforska teknik och samarbeta med j\u00e4mn\u00e5riga. Varje labb \u00e4r en levande m\u00f6tesplats f\u00f6r innovation, kreativitet och gemenskap, under ledning av en lokal l\u00e4rare som hj\u00e4lper till att f\u00f6rverkliga id\u00e9er. F\u00f6r n\u00e4rvarande finns 10 aktiva labb och 1 associerat labb \u2013 alla redo att inspirera n\u00e4sta generation av tekniktalanger.<\/span><\/p>\n

Deltagarna kan v\u00e4lja kurser inom programmering, frilansarbete, ledarskap, kreativa omr\u00e5den samt s\u00e4rskilda program f\u00f6r flickor. Under de senaste \u00e5ren har \u00f6ver 25 000 ukrainska barn genomf\u00f6rt stiftelsens program, och m\u00f6jligheterna forts\u00e4tter att expandera.<\/span><\/p>\n

Statistics for South Africa:<\/h3>\n

Of all young people and adults aged 15-49, 17.8% were HIV-positive. HIV prevalence is significantly higher for women (23.5%) than for men (12.1%). An estimated 160,000 adult South Africans became newly infected with HIV in 2022, or 430 people every day. <\/p>\n

Among young people aged 10-19, i.e. the age group our programme serves, an estimated 28,000 were newly infected with HIV in 2022. This corresponds to almost 80 learners every day. About two-thirds of these newly infected young people are girls. <\/p>\n
