As we prepare for the next cohort of learners to come back to school Star For Life, and other local NGOs, have partnered with the departments of Health, Education and Social Development to form transversal teams. The aim is to provide psychosocial support and educate learners, educators and support staff about the COVID-19 pandemic. The vision of Angie Motshekga, Minister of Basic Education, to save the academic year 2020 is what fuels this mission.
