Countess Alexandra, former Princess Alexandra in Denmark, made her debut at a private event at Malmö Arenas 10th anniversary in November. Her song “Wash me Away” was written during Star for Lifes songwriter camp in South Africa.

Countess Alexandra has always had an interest in singing and in a short time she has wanted to debut as a singer. We are of course proud that she chose to make her song debut in favor of Star for Life, where part of the song’s royalties will come to our favour.
The song “Wash Me Away” was written during the Thanda Session, which is the Star for Lifes songwriter camp, which is annually organized for international songwriters and music producers in Hluhluwe, South Africa.
Behind the Thanda Session is Ken Wennerholm, Göran Rudbo, Moh Denebi and Søren Mikkelsen.
The first line of the song “I am a desert, in need of a little water”, sums up, in a very delicate way, the charity work SfL implements for young people in Africa. The song was therefore an all-natural choice for Countess Alexandra, already after the first review.
Among the song writers involved is the well-known American songwriter Sharon Vaughn, who has worked together with several global stars over the years. She is for example best known in Scandinavia for “Release Me” with the Swedish pop star Agnes.
“Wash Me Away” was produced by Danish Søren Mikkelsen in the legendary Medley Studio (Denmark) and was released on the record label U & !
